Invitation: International entrepreneurship, 12/12/2006, Brussels

We would like to invite you to our 3rd Prince Albert Fund Alumni Fall Conference, featuring the topic of International entrepreneurship.

We are pleased to have 3 distinguished speakers on the topic, who will share their personal journey and experience with the company they are currently leading on the international scene:

  • Mr. Jan Callewaert, CEO Option, Manager of the Year 2005. Option is the world leader in data cards and embedded wireless modules for fast data transfer over mobile networks and has been nominated company of the year in 2005.
  • Mr. Pierre de Muelenaere, President and CEO of I.R.I.S. I.R.I.S was set-up back in 1987 building on the then breakthrough technology of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) systems and is now among the world leaders in this field.
  • Mr. Jean-Louis Van Marcke, CEO Bobex.com, and an Alumnus of both the Prince Albert Fund and University of Chicago. Bobex is a pioneer in internet-based marketplaces, matching Customers and Suppliers over the Net, and is currently rolling-out its presence throughout Europe.

These three individual presentations will be followed by a Q&A session, moderated by Prof. Koenraad Debackere, General Manager of K.U. Leuven R&D and a leading personality on the European scene of university spin-offs.
